The documentation claims this function is supported as of 5.1.3, however, I am running 5.1.6 on Fedora Core Release 5 and this function is NOT available.

I am unable to find a circumstance whereby a false is returned. Rather the array is always returned with the error_count and errors elements set accordingly.

Careful - date_parse is perfectly happy with something like this:
date_parse("2006-2-31");
